This is an invitation to participate in a great venture: the transformation
of healthcare in America. The Center for Healthy Medicine is a 501 (c) 3 charitable
nonprofit with a comprehensive plan for creating effective, affordable health
care for all Americans.
Your support is crucial at this time. The CHM plan can continue
to unfold at any level of funding, but if we’re going
to make the shift from our current “sickness care” system
to one that truly supports the health of every American, it
will take a groundswell of support from a critical mass of
individuals united by a common vision.
There are many worthy organizations in need of funding, including
those aimed at eradicating or alleviating specific diseases
and conditions such as cancer, diabetes, or AIDS. What makes
the Center for Healthy Medicine different is that it addresses
the entire spectrum of public health concerns from the standpoint
of universal access to effective and affordable care, moving
beyond the symptoms of a broken system to address the underlying
causes.
Transforming the current health care system is a huge undertaking,
but the American people are ready for change. More and more
individuals are choosing to explore and embrace alternatives
to mainstream allopathic care and its over-dependence on drugs
and surgery. The CHM, in its essence, is a nonprofit organization
capable of acting as an umbrella for the many and various grassroots
efforts currently working to transform healthcare at every
level.
The CHM programs outlined on this web site have already been
underway on a small scale for several decades, through the
efforts of integrative medicine centers and public education.
However, under the current economic structure in medicine,
these products and services reach only a limited number of
people. With your help, the Center for Healthy Medicine Plan
will take us to the next level, improving the life of every
American. Your donation will go directly towards initiating
a media campaign of national scope, helping to establish new-prototype
health partnerships in the form of Healthy Medicine Associations,
and creating innovative Centers of Excellence and smaller effective
hospitals across the country.
